My Method
When you book me you won’t just get any photographer. You will see a fun loving and friendly, yet patient and professional guy. Literally a Jack of all trades that is always happy to help.
To shoot natural wedding photography, it really helps to understand who you are and how you have got to your upcoming special day! For this reason I always offer a free online meeting before booking as it is a great way for us to meet and for you to ask any questions that you may have. This is followed by a further meeting about two months before the wedding to go through your big day in more detail.
My wedding photography style is largely documentary in approach; simply meaning I will document your entire day in photographs as it unfolds. I will put more emphasis on capturing the moments, emotions and feeling of your day, rather than lots of strict, serious or organised group photos. That is not to say I won’t do small intimate family & group shots, however I find that when everyone is relaxed and having a great time the images speak for themselves. The image you can see? Correct, that’s Sophie…relaxed!
I see my Job as capturing the real life moments. Beautiful candid images that could as easily be on a magazine cover as on your walls at home. You may not be able to always see me but I can always see you. Occasionally I may even feel too close! I have a relaxed approach and won’t interfere with your day. I will however be focused on what I do best.
The nature of the day can be fast paced, buzzing and frenetic. Amongst the crazy I will combine my style with some beautiful portraits of you both. This is where we can have a bit of fun and set up some truly memorable special images.
It would be an honour to implement my method and style to your special day.
